In Theory of Knowledge (TOK) we ask questions, for questions re often more interesting than the answers!
In this very first episode, I would like to give you an introduction into the Theory of Knowledge, by introducing to you a mind experiment. It is called the Ship of Theseus. An old wooden ship starts to rot and over time parts of the ship are replaced. After a few years, the whole ship has been replaced with new wood. The question is now: is it still the same ship? This is a yes/no question. When dealing with knowlege questions, many questions are not binary (yes/no) but rather there is a gray-zone. In TOK we will look at different questions – for sometimes questions can be more interesting than the answers.
